Dennis Hobson and business partner Steve Crump make history this Friday (December 11) when the UK’s first ever drive-in boxing show takes place at Sheffield Arena  live on Eurosport.

Topping the bill on home turf will be undefeated Tommy Frank, 13-0 (3), taking on Mexico’s Hugo Guarneros, 17-4-2 (8), for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) Inter-Continental Flyweight Title.  Chief support is a 50-50, all-Yorkshire derby fight between Sheffield pair Kane Salvin and Sufyaan Ahmed for the Central Area Super Featherweight Title, with both men currently sporting identical 5-0 records.

Just days before the event, Dennis runs the rule over the show, and also responds to Tommy’s Sheffield-based rival, Sunny Edwards, who recently Tweeted that he wouldn’t be prepared to face Frank if he ever became a world champion:

Dennis Hobson Promotions presents an evening of boxing at Sheffield Arena on December 11, headlined by Tommy Frank and Mexico’s Rosendo Hugo Guarneros contesting the vacant International Boxing Federation (IBF) Inter-Continental Flyweight Title.

Chief support sees Kane Salvin and Sufyaan Ahmed fight for the Central Area Super Featherweight belt.  Also appearing will be Sheffield’s Perry Howe and Keanen Wainwright, Lancashire’s Josh Holmes and Zak Miller, Belfast’s Cathy McAleer, and Rotherham’s Kash Ali.

The action will be broadcast live by Eurosport.
