Fightzone viewers get to follow the next steps of Nathan Mizon’s boxing journey, with the 21-year-old getting a prime slot on a Fight Academy card from the Tower Bridge Hotel in London on March 4.

Now 3-0 (1) the fighter from Tadworth, Surrey will look to live up to his ‘Mr Excitement’ moniker against experienced Polish fighter Jakub Laskowski who has been stopped just twice in 17 outings and took boxing legend Ricky Hatton’s son, Campbell, the four round distance in July last year.

The London card will also feature Bromley’s Harry Mullins; Guilford’s Alfie Winter; debutants Dee Allen and Louise Orton, and France’s Ismael Francois and Johanna Wonyou.

Ahead of the night, find out all you need to know about ‘Mr Excitement’:

Age? 21

When did you first start boxing? At the age of three my dad had the gloves on me. I had my first skills bout at the age eight.

Tell us a bit about your amateur experience? I was in the amateur game for quite a few years.  I then moved to the Queensbury Boxing League which suited my style, more like the pros. More rounds. No headgear. This brought me on a lot and I fought older tough opponents.

Who are your boxing heroes? My hero has to Ali.   I remember watching his documentaries over and over as a boy.  Also Sugar Ray Robinson – his skills are like no other.

Who are you trained by? Barry Healy.

For people that have never seen you box – what can they expect? One hundred per cent – every fight to be full of excitement. Speed and power, with plenty of skill.  I will never put on a dull performance!

How far do you think you can go in the sport? I believe I have got it in me to go all the way. With the right learning, complete dedication day in and out – I will get there. I work hard everyday and always put in the overtime.

What are your strengths and weaknesses as a boxer? Strengths?  I don’t have one bit of quit in me. Weakness?  Sometimes I can over do the work.

What’s the hardest thing about being a pro fighter (so far)? I love everything about it. It’s the lifestyle I always wanted, but I would say the hardest thing is multiple sessions with not much recovery time.

What weight do you see yourself winning belts at? Super lightweight and up.

Name one UK fighter you would like to face in 2022? Anyone with the Southern Area Title.

Your favourite meal? Old school – mum’s roast!

Favourite film?  Lord of the Rings

Which actor would you choose to play you in a movie about your life? Tom Hardy

Favourite city? London

Who is your biggest inspiration? My father.

Tell us an unusual fact about yourself? I can swim two lengths underwater breast stroke.

Where do you see yourself in five years’ time? Healthy and wealthy!
