Sheffield’s Tommy Frank will defend his British Flyweight Title for the first time on Sunday April 3rd at Rotherham’s Magna Centre, LIVE on Fightzone.
The 28-year-old faces Doncaster’s Craig Derbyshire, who he beat in 2018 for the Central Area Super Flyweight Title.
Craig’s 8-28-3 (2) record may look patchy but – on closer inspection – he’s been in the away corner for most of his fights, is vastly experienced, and is in the form of his life, winning three of his last four and claiming the English Super Flyweight belt in a huge upset win over the highly-rated Joseph Maphosa.
Here ‘Super’ Tommy talks about the threat Craig poses, his desire for ‘big’ fights, and why stable mate Keanen Wainwright is a man to be feared!
Fight Academy present an evening of boxing at Rotherham’s Magna Centre on Sunday April 3 headlined by British Flyweight Champion Tommy Frank defending his title against Doncaster’s Craig Derbyshire.
The undercard will feature heavyweight Dave Allen; Sheffield’s Keanen Wainwright and Zane Clark; Leeds’ Billy Pickles and Reece Cartwright; Grimsby’s Levi Giles; Wolverhampton’s Katie Healy; Barnsley’s Matty Heppenstall; France’s Ismael Francois and debutant Danny Hall.
